CHURCH SCHOOL NEWSCHURCH SCHOOL LENTEN COLLECTION It has been the custom for the Church School at All Saints during Lent to support a mission project. Our outreach this year focuses on orphaned children in two situations. First, with the people of Bonda Children's Mission in Mutare, Zimbabwe. Bonda Children's Mission is an Anglican/Episcopal orphanage for approximately 29 children whose lives have been affected by the HIV/AIDS international pandemic that has killed millions. Second, we will also connect with the thousands of people throughout the world in giving a portion of our collection toward the relief efforts in the aftermath of the Southeast Asia tsunami through Mercy Corps International. You can help! If you ARE a Church School Household, please make sure to take time each week to mark your contribution in the Bonda box. For everyone else, on Sunday, March 6, we'll hold our Bonda Bake Sale during the Social Hour with fresh cookies the children will make that morning. Our collection culminates on Sunday, March 20 -- Palm Sunday -- with a special offertory procession of the children and young people bringing their "Bonda boxes" forward to the altar. The parish will also be able to contribute on this day. "God of love and life, we cannot live alone, but only in your grace. Bless our lives, our households, and our gifts throughout this season; in Jesus' name we pray. Amen." EASTER Sunday of the Resurrection, March 27. Remember, the 9:00 AM liturgy is aimed at households with children. The Schola and Cherubs will sing. We anticipate many guests among us and want to welcome them too!! An EASTER EGG HUNT for little children will immediately follow the liturgy. If every household could PLEASE bring 1 dozen (or more) plastic eggs filled with small candies, toys, and stickers, we'll have enough. BRING donations Sundays, March 13th or 20th or to the Church Office during that time.
