Each household should provide a side dish, salad, drinks, or dessert to share. And, just for FUN ... WEAR A SILLY HAT! The Crazier and Wilder, the better! Mark the date and sign up to let us know you're coming. We hope to see you on Sunday, September 25th ! !

Calling all Acolytes!! Whether you're experienced or want to be a new one ... AN IMPORTANT PRACTICE / TRAINING SESSION will be on Sunday, September 18 at Noon. We'll have pizza lunch and practice in the Church, as well as measure for vestments. Please talk with Nancy Snudden (617-469-9172) to confirm that you can attend. Even if you've had training before, please make this a priority! See you then!

Spiritual Film Suggestions. This Fall, your household may wish to enjoy a film on video or DVD. Here is a list of films that young people in a nearby parish suggested as "good conversation starters between parents and children or teens" in connecting with the wider world, and awareness of the sacred.

Polar Express
Pay it Forward
Simon Birth
My Dog Skip
Remember the Titans
Red October Sky
Patch Adams
Miracle
Finding Nemo
Dead Poet's Society
The Incredibles

ASP parishioner, Lisa Henderson, has two suggestions as well:

Walk on Water
Millions

Please note that some of these are not appropriate for all children and youth. As with all entertainment and media, parents are encouraged to use their own judgment and viewing guidelines that fit your family.

The Reverend Stefani S. Schatz,
Director of Religious Education
