Jesus tells his friends about the Holy Spirit
(From the Gospel of John, chapter 14)
Jesus had supper with his friends on the night before he died. He knew it was the last time they would see each other on earth, so he talked to them about many things.
This is one thing he told them:
"God's Holy Spirit will come to live with you after I have gone to heaven. The Holy Spirit will help you understand what is true and what is not. The Holy Spirit will be like a good friend to you. She will help you make sense out of what will happen to you because you are my disciples. The Holy Spirit will help you know me more fully, because she will take from me and give to you – whatever you need, whenever you need it."

Do you have a good friend? What makes that person a good friend?
How is God a good friend to you?
How can God help you know what is true and what is not true?
