Together Now Campaign - THANK YOU Our parish celebrated Together Now Commitment Weekend on April 28-29. It was a joyous occasion as we gave thanks for generosity of the more than 100 parishioners who made pledges to contribute to the mission and outreach of our parish and provide funds to repair our building. Together Now will fund the Green Grants program of the diocese to promote environmental stewardship, the B-SAFE and B-Ready programs to tutor inner-city youth, the Camp and Conference Center to bring urban and suburban children together in faith-building activities, mission hubs in impoverished communities, renovation of the cathedral, and support for mission projects outside of our diocese. For this we give thanks to God and thanks to all of the people who are a part of this effort. Pentecost Celebration on May 27
This year, Pentecost falls on May 27, which is during the Memorial Day weekend. As is the tradition at All Saints, the account in Acts of the descent of the Holy Spirit on the gathered disciples will be read simultaneously in many languages. Since this is a holiday weekend, we are making a special appeal to those who know that they will be in church on that Sunday. If you can read a language other than English and would like to participate in this reading, please contact Marianne Evett, 781-316-8470, or mbevett@gmail.com as soon as possible.
Welcome to All Saints Parish in Brookline
We are an Episcopal Church in the Anglican tradition that embraces Catholic and Protestant elements. We are an open and affirming congregation that welcomes people of all races, ethnic groups, sexual orientations, and religious backgrounds. Our mission is to be a community — searching to know and accept God's purpose for us. Uplifted by worship together, sustained by a sense of Christ being in our midst, and inspired by the Holy Spirit to become more than we are, here, and in the world. We invite you to spend some time getting to know us and helping us get to know you. We hope that in the process you will discover a caring community of worship, sacrament, fellowship, witness, and action. We hope you will find a church home.
